I’ve had Simon play now for two of my events so far. Surprisingly, both events turned out with extreme weather, one of which he used his own generator to power our night. The weather did not deter Simon from his performance as he played under tarps in the backyard which we all enjoyed from beginning to end. I will be hiring him and the band for my wedding this year. Looking forward to it!!

40th Birthday & Staff Christmas Party @ Private Residence and Lake Tinaroo

Simon and Billy as a duo played at our wedding in 2007 and we really enjoyed them as a band.
They master covers and deliver great original songs as well. We like Simon's quirkiness as an entertainer and they are both great at getting the whole crowd involved.  I highly recommend Simon and Billy as a duo for any any event, large or small. To this day we still attend their gigs, listen to their CDs and hire them for events.

Simon Harris and his band Frontear have been an integral part of the Cairns music scene for as long as I can remember! His performances are not just about singing songs and playing instruments, it's about the client and the patrons. Each and every time he plays the crowd rise to their feet and find their dancing shoes. For private functions you will often hear the words of a familiar song changed to reflect the theme of the night; the clients humour; or to incorporate a birthday boy or girls' name. I would have no hesitation referring him to clients, as he is eager to please and please he does.

Front ear have been rocking the fgf Corporate Tent at the Cairns Amateurs Racing Carnival for the past 5 years.

With over 700 corporates guests & friends over the 2 day carnival, the need for guys who can work in with our formal commitments, yet be able to swing the mood from cruisey to party time over the day is a skill no doubt, & these guys certainly do that!

With a voiced likened to Rob Thomas, Simmo really knows how to work the crowd backed up by his soulful singing drummer Billy playing all classics from the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s all the way through to today’s latest hits.

These guys don’t just play music, they entertain, with skills on the mic & humour to burn, it’s no wonder why they get the crowd singing along & by the afternoon all the “ladies” dancing the arvo away on the infamous slope.
